The University of Vermont now offers a Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive Program to eligible employees who choose to retire by March 31, 2021. Eligible employees must apply for this program. Faculty and staff looking to retire must take preparations to ensure a smooth transition process. The basic steps you must take are notify your supervisor, make an appointment with an Employee Advisor, contact your retirement savings account vendor(s), and change your e-mail settings. Retirement 403b - Champlain College offers employees of the college who are scheduled to work twenty or more hours per week to defer into a tax-deferred investment plan. Employees can elect or modify individual contributions via Oracle HCM. There are a number of other benefits you receive as an employee of the college. Saint Michael’s College has an expansive employee benefits package. Included in this package is a 401(k) plan, a company-sponsored retirement account that employees can contribute to. The 401(k) is offered to all part-time and full-time employees. The Retirement Plan for Employees of Saint Michael’s College (401(k) Plan) is a defined contribution plan. This benefit is available immediately upon employment. Employees become eligible to receive a college contribution to the 401(k) plan after completion of one year or 1,000 hours of service as defined by the plan document.
